This weeks video is all about having those easy and healthy go to lunch ideas. The two meals that I’m eating in this video are both made with air fried potatoes and I just used them in two ways. Both these meals only contain few ingredients that are all very easy to find. It’s also a super cheap way of eating which I love too! Both my meals are low in calorie density so you can eat a lot of food for very little calories. I love this way of eating! It’s been a game changer for me.
I hope you enjoy my simple and super easy meal ideas. I will post my recipe for the Black bean & Kale spread that I make in the video below. If you are unfamiliar with the Starch Solution book then I highly recommend you reading it. Dr. McDougall makes staying healthy and lean so easy. You never have to count calories or live restricted with this way of eating!
BLACK BEAN & KALE SPREAD
– 2 can of black beans, rinsed
– 1 tomato
– 3 large kale leaves
– Juice of 1 medium lemon
– Seasonings/Spices: I use Paprika, Garlic Powder and Chili Powder
– 1 tsp of hot sauce
Add all the ingredients to a food processor and blend well. Place mixture in an airtight container in the fridge. This spread will keep for 5 – 7 days if it lasts that long!
I cook mine at 350 for 12 minutes. Depending on the model of air fryer you will have to adjust the time.
